Friends with a Magpie

Our very first meeting and introduction to the incredibly talented Tarah of Magpie Calls  was on our Mexican Styled shoot together.  Magpie calls creates Bridal & Special Occasion accessories for the whimsically inclined. (Scroll down for the most recent family heirloom piece Tarah created for our bride Clarice)

Tarah’s unique creations are mainly custom work and she just loves creating something truly unique and fitting for each of her clients!  Having seen her work and how it fits into each brides wedding day its incredible just how special each piece is.  A lasting reminder of your big day.  Also, a possible family heirloom to pass down through the generations.

Tarah works with new and old/vintage elements and collects bits from various sources, this means that certain components are one of a kind or limited and what adds to the special quality of a Magpie Calls creation. In fact this is just what Magpie Calls specialises in – bespoke pieces that are uniquely you!

One such piece was the crown created for our bride Clarice.

“The piece is very sentimental and one of a kind as I have incorporated lace and pearls from the Bride’s Mother’s Wedding dress into the crown. Delicate and whimsical, combined with her fabulous wedding dress this Bride is channelling a “Midsummer’s night dream”!” ~ Tarah, Owner, Magpie CallsBridal Hair and Makeup the Glades Midlands (15)
