We do both Hair and Makeup together, so that for your trial preview, where possible, you make one appointment, go to one place, can see the whole look as one and deal with one booking. 

On the day you pay one travel fee as our hair/makeup artists and stylist travel together to your venue

We are recommended as preferred suppliers of Hair and Makeup services, by fifteen of KZN’s top wedding venues. Our team are recommended by the following venues: Providence, The Groves, Netherwood, Brahman Hills Haycroft Thorner Country Estate, The Gallery at Far Side Farm, Granny Mouse, Tala, Bellwood,  The Secret Garden and Lythwood to name a few

Our Team of Hair & Makeup artists are all fantastic,  you can wholeheartedly trust them implicitly to deliver a high level of service to you on your special day.  Our PRO team is expertly trained to deal with all skin types, hair textures and skin tones. Our vast hair and makeup kits consist of top brands such as MAC, Kryolan, Urban Decay, Stila and other pharmacy faves that we know are longwearing and hypoallergenic.

You spend a fair amount on your professional photos so we ensure that when you look at them in the excitement after the wedding and in years to come you will still be enthralled at the person you were on that day.

YOUR BRIDAL HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIAL

We recommend booking your bridal trial hair and makeup preview 2-3 weeks before your wedding day. By then you would have chosen your dream dress, your hair and skin will be as close to how it will be on the day and there will still be some time for us to make some tweaks together with you.

Our International and out of town brides often opt to come for their bridal hair and makeup trial preview the week of their wedding or even the day before, this is totally fine. It all depends on what you are comfortable with.

Please note trial previews are for our booked brides only, those who have had a look through our work, our happy clients reviews and have already selected us with full trust to be a part of their special wedding day. The trial preview is a time for us to get to know each other and for us to work together on your perfect look, one you feel comfortable and confident in. We make the tweaks together until you are 100% happy!

Accentuating someone’s features on their special day is an honour.  We love meeting our brides at their bridal hair and makeup trial and working with them to come up with a hair and makeup look that they are happy with.  Each bride is different and we love bringing out a sense of who they are. We are merely there to enhance and accentuate the beauty already there.  The bridal hair and makeup trial is done in Hillcrest, Durban or our team can come to you within a reasonable distance for a travel fee. 

Please note:  We reserve our Saturdays for our weddings to focus fully on that bride and we don’t work Sundays.  Its a family day, Church day and day of rest for our team.

Our studio is based in Hillcrest and our opening hours for previews are:

Tues & Thursdays:

We have two appointments per day either 9 – 11:30 or 12 – 14:30

To accommodate our brides for their convenience on days when our studio is closed or fully booked, we utilise the Willow Way Manor workshop space on Wednesdays & Fridays or our team can come out to you (travel fee then applies)

We keep in touch each step of the way and pride ourselves on our professional, reliable service.    

Why should you hire us?  Having been by many brides sides on the most important day of their life, I have adopted the motto “Your day, your way”  We ensure that you are comfortable, at ease and having a great time while getting ready.  We ensure that we follow your body language and if you need a calming influence we provide a sense of peace and calm to calm the last minute nerves.  If you are chatty and upbeat then we join in and provide some fun and laughter.  We ensure that at the end you look absolutely amazing, but you still look like you. 

One fact you must know about the service?  We tailor make each quote to suit each brides wedding and requirements.  We are more than happy to rework quotations to meet your needs.

What is the process? To book our services and secure your wedding date:

• 50% booking fee as per the invoice is due to clear and the remaining balance becomes due a month before the wedding day
• Please ensure you read, initial and sign the attached T’s and C’s and send back to us.
• Please also ensure that you read the info at the end of the invoice as that outlines our CPA cancellation procedure, which is also outlined in our pricing tab in our main website menu.

Booking is only confirmed once you are in receipt of your updated invoice reflecting your payment and a confirmation email from us.   We unfortunately can’t hold dates as much as we would love to.
